No Biscuits is building a community of people who want to focus on wellbeing and staying healthy for the long term.
But we also like to have fun and so this is an opportunity to do that.
This is the idea.
Families gather at a given location (to be announced) in Yuzhen Park (South Park) with their own homemade picnic and drinks at 1130 until about 4.00 pm, depending on weather.
We will have specific activities for 3 age groups:
6-11 year olds
12-15 year olds
16 and above
This doesn’t mean that younger kids are not welcome, and if we do have groups of younger kids, we will have games for them too.
We will make a charge to cover basic costs, but it will be the minimum that we need.
We are looking for 3-4 volunteers to form a committee to help plan the activities and lead the games.
Some of the games will be individual and most will be team. The Treasure Hunt will also be team based, either as families or random groups. Treasure Hunt will be on foot and will involve finding a series of cues leading to a final goal, based on the time to achieve the goal to determine the winner.
Other points:
First aid – there will be a first aid pack on hand.
Food and drink – we suggest to bring only natural food and drink, avoiding processed food and drinks, but it’s fully your individual choice.
Disclaimer – participants agree not to hold No Biscuits liable for any injury sustained during the games.
Wet weather – if it is raining, we will postpone the event, we will use a What’s App group for communications.
This blog will develop with additional details as we approach the planning stage.
